NYU Employees and Dependents of NYU Employees
Members of New York University staff, faculty, and officers or
administrators and their dependents who are eligible for tuition remission
are encouraged to apply for financial aid (by filing the FAFSA), and may
qualify for Federal Subsidized Stafford Loans,
Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, Federal
PLUS Loans, Federal Pell Grants, the Academic
Competitiveness Grant (ACG), the National
SMART Grant, the Federal TEACH Grant,
and some private (non-NYU) loan programs.
NYU employees and their dependents are generally not
eligible for need-based or merit-based University administered
scholarships, grants, or loans, including FSEOG, Perkins, or Federal
Work-Study.
