Graduate/Undergraduate Courses
All Journalism in Russia courses are graduate classes, but are open to advanced undergraduates.
Students must register for 4 points.
Specialized Reporting: Reporting Russia
G54.9182 - Wolff/Mihai - 4 Points
Students report, together with Russian counterparts, on political, economic, and social issues in southern Russia. The goal is to produce publishable works of journalism. In addition to publication on our website, the best work will be distributed over Livewire, the NYU Journalism Department’s wire service. Print and broadcast projects are both welcome. This is an intensive reporting experience. Students will be working on their projects every day.
The ability to speak and read Russian is not a requirement for this course, as interpreters are provided.
