The Poetics and Theory Program runs annual workshops with a large conference every three years, organized in cooperation with the Kleist Institute at the European University Viadrina at Frankfurt an der Oder (Berlin), Germany, and the Amsterdam School of Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, , and jointly sponsored by NYU, the NWO (the Dutch research organization), and the DFG (the German research association).
