Images in this site are not merely ornamental: with their irony and postmodern hybridity, they also express the department's vision. It is not by chance that most of them were part of successful exhibitions held at Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò: AReA Strategic Design's Rules for Building Images, November 5-26, 1998; Antonia Ciampi's Signs at Stake, November 13-December 5, 2000; and Francesca Magnani's Duplicittà, April 2-26, 2002.  Teresa Ciulli's works were reproduced from her book Per Marco Polo, per Kublai Kan, per Italo Calvino, e per me.

All images are protected by copyright and appear courtesy of AReA Strategic Design, Antonia Ciampi, Teresa Ciulli, and Francesca Magnani. The author's name and the title appear in an alt label when you roll the mouse over the picture. Some pictures have been cut or slightly modified.
