Academic Technologist for Audio and Visual Media, Center for Digital Scholarship, NYU Abu Dhabi
Rebecca is an Academic Technology Specialist for Audio and Visual Media in Abu Dhabi. She holds a Masters degree in Contemporary Arts specializing in video and photography. She uses these skills to help faculty incorporate media into their teaching and research, along with various other digital tools. She also runs workshops to enable faculty, staff and students the opportunity to develop their own video and photography skills and also offers a variety of session on Adobe software such as Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere.
Head, Center for Digital Scholarship, NYU Abu Dhabi
As the Head of the Center for Digital Scholarship at NYU Abu Dhabi, Beth oversees a space that supports the library and technology needs of faculty and advanced scholars. This includes supporting faculty research projects and their use of digital tools, providing guidance on NYU's enterprise technology systems (NYU Classes, NYU Stream, NYU Web Publishing, Google Apps in the Classroom), data services, using video in teaching and research and storage and archival methods.
