Alumni Relations

To facilitate the engagement and participation of NYU’s 400,000 plus undergraduate and graduate alumni living and working around the world, UDAR has implemented a wide range of alumni programs, events, and publications. Networking opportunities, career services, and resources that are exclusive to NYU alumni include Alumni Day, a day of lectures, dean's luncheons, networking, and reminiscing; NYU Alumni Magazine, a biannual print magazine; NYU Alumni Connect, a monthly email newsletter; extensive social networks, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter; and regional and interest-based alumni clubs and groups, engaging graduates of the University; as well as numerous other publications, career networking events, alumni volunteer opportunities, and student orientations.

UDAR also works to promote the many benefits that are available to New York University alumni, among which are access to University facilities and services such as the Jerome S. Coles Sports and Recreation Center and Palladium Sports Center; the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library and Study Center; the NYU Torch Club; discounts at the NYU Bookstore, NYU Computer Store, and Skirball Center for the Performing Arts; as well as credit card, travel, and insurance programs. UDAR helps promote the exchange of information among alumni and alumni organizations by providing free online communications resources, including lifetime NYU email and online directories of alumni contact information. UDAR oversees the activities of the NYU Alumni Association. The NYU Alumni Association President chairs the Alumni Association’s Executive Committee of elected officers and represents alumni to the University.
