Benefits, Discounts, and Perks
The Benefits Office
manages the set of competitive benefits that NYU offers to the working members of the University. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, tuition remission for dependents, mortgage assistance program, life insurance, retirement, and more. The Computer Store
at NYU offers computer-related services to faculty and staff, including deferred payment options on purchases and repair service. Additionally, Laptop Insurance is provided through the NYU Insurance and Risk Management Department to members of the community who utilize NYU-provided laptops for work.

The Faculty Housing Office

- Live Smart Money Matters
offers financial education seminars and individual appointments for employees to sit down with TIAA-CREF and Vanguard. - NYU Federal Credit Union
is a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving only the NYU community. - Savings Bonds
are available for faculty members to purchase via payroll deduction.
Health and Wellness
- Fitness Centers at NYU include Coles Sports and Recreation Center and Palladium both of which offer memberships for faculty at discounted rates.
- Live Smart
offers a variety of wellness and education programs each month. Programs are generally free, or have a minimal charge, and are scheduled during the lunch hour on campus for easy access. - NYU's Employee Assistance Program
offered through Carebridge Life Resources, provides guidance and resources on a wide variety of issues, such as family concerns, marital and relationship problems, psychological and emotional stress, alcohol and substance abuse, work-related issues, and legal and financial matters. - Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic
(212)998-5230 offers free communications screenings for members of the NYU community and their families. The clinic, run by NYU's Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, diagnoses and treats a wide range of communications diffiulties and disorders.

- Administrative Management Councils (AMC's) Annual Art Show
sponsored during the spring is only one of several events the AMC hosts throughout the year. - Grey Art Gallery
located on Washington Square East aims to document and explore human culture through artwork. - Skirball Center for the Performing Arts
hosts an array of performances by members of the NYU community as well as artists and musicians from around the world. - Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development

Safety and Security
- The Office of Public Safety
posts news, policies, tips, and events related to safety and security on campus. The office can be reached 24/7 at 212-998-2222. - NYU Alerts Hotline
available online and by phone (212-998-1220), will keep you up to date on University closures and schedule changes due to weather or other emergencies. - NYU Safe Havens

provides resources on individual spiritual and religious groups on campus, and links to community resources.
