NYU announces an exclusive offer for eligible University affiliates to buy a condominium at Riverwalk Landing, a newly-constructed, luxury building located on Roosevelt Island. Studios, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units are available at a discount from their market value. Eligible affiliates (as defined below) may purchase units in which they and their spouse/domestic partner can remain post-retirement.

Riverwalk is available to the greater NYU community, specifically most New York University (NYU) employees and rent regulated tenants in NYU housing. Post doctoral fellows, graduate students, faculty fellows, acting professors and subtenants are deemed ineligible.*

Affiliates in NYU Housing
Eligible affiliates currently living in NYU rental housing may still obtain subsidized financing via the Riverwalk Affordable Loan Program (RAMP), which consists of a zero current interest, shared appreciation loan for up to 30% of the purchase price. For a limited time, eligible affiliates may also obtain a HOP-2 Loan in conjunction with the RAMP loan. Please note that the RAMP and HOP-2 loans are only available to eligible NYU affiliates living in University rental housing.*

To be eligible for the RAMP loan, New York University ("NYU") affiliates must currently live in NYU-owned rental housing and not have a pre-existing requirement to vacate such housing. Visitors, rent controlled tenants, rent stabilized tenants, post doctoral fellows, graduate students, faculty fellows, acting professors and subtenants are deemed ineligible. Medical faculty in dedicated NYU Medical School apartments are not eligible. The Eligible Affiliate must occupy the Riverwalk Landing condominium as his/her principal residence if he/she uses NYU financing.
