Points Reimbursement Program

New York University offers the Points Reimbursement Program to help faculty, administrators and professional staff purchase a house or apartment. Under the program, eligible affiliates may receive reimbursement for first mortgage origination fees (points) associated with the purchase of a primary residence within commuting distance of Washington Square. The lifetime limit for the reimbursement is $5,000.

Eligibility is restricted to full-time tenured and tenure-line faculty. Also eligible are administrative and professional staff in code 100 who have completed 5 or more years of service and who have a base salary of $100,000 or less. Program eligibility is retroactive to January 1, 1998, while the benefit level and service requirement are effective as of April 28, 2000.
