The University is committed to developing homeownership programs for its faculty and staff. Currrently, there are three active programs that eligible affiliates are encouraged to consider:
- Riverwalk Condominiums
All full-time NYU employees are eligible to purchase a luxury condominium at Riverwalk Landing Condominiums on Roosevelt Island. Eligible affiliates living in University rental housing may also obtain additional financial assistance to purchase at Riverwalk. - Homeownership Program-2 (HOP-2) *new*
Eligible affiliates living in University residential housing may apply for a zero Current Interest lifetime loan to purchase a primary residence within commuting distance of NYU. - Points Reimbursement Program
The University also offers the Points Reimbursement Program for eligible faculty and staff, which reimburses first mortgage origination fees for new homebuyers and is managed by the Human Resources Department.
