As Vice President for the Faculty Housing Office and Residential Services, Ms. Sargent works with her staff to design and implement the policies and programs needed to meet NYU's near and long term housing demands. Ms. Sargent came to NYU from Stanford University where she was Director of Faculty Staff Housing for ten years.
- Responsible for affiliate and non-affiliate housing
- Housing liaison to the Provost and Deans to support faculty recruiting and retention
- Leads and coordinates design and construction standards with FCM
- Supervises and coordinates housing renovations with FCM
- Designs and implements housing policies to recruit high-caliber faculty

- Directs residential managing agent
- Oversees leases and tenant policies
- Ensures regulatory compliance in conjunction with the Office of General Counsel for rental and loan programs
