Branch and affiliate campuses provide an NYU quality education in a non-US location to local students. Additionally, they provide opportunity for NYU faculty to engage in international scholarship and collaborations. In some cases, branch campuses have a secondary role as a study-abroad location for NYU students based at Washington Square, but their primary mission is to provide a complete NYU education outside New York to an international student population.
