How to Change the Default Time Zone of your Event

Time Zones Explained

The NYU Events Calendar can promote events in time zones around the world in all our global locations.

What if my group offers an event in another location?

No problem. As you enter an event, you can easily toggle its start and end times to a different time zone with a simple pull-down menu.

In what time zone do site viewers see events?

The NYU Event Calendar automatically detects the location of each site viewer and displays each event in both the time zone of its location and the site viewer's location.

Any site viewer can easily click on an event's time to change its location to any timezone in our time zone library.

Example of Changing Time Zone on Event

If an event is so sufficiently ahead or behind to cross midnight, the Event Calendar will add a +1 Day or -1 Day notation.
