When you log into the LiveWhale application, you'll be placed into the Your Events: Manage Events screen. A list of your events is displayed.
Note: If you are a member of more than one Calendar Group, you can switch into that group by selecting the appropriate group name from the drop-down menu next to Logged in as at the top of the screen.
If, by unforseen circumstances, your must cancel your event at the last minute, you can update your event listing to indicate the cancellation.
Your event will still appear on the calendar, but will have the word (canceled) next to the event title.
This can also be used to cancel one event in a larger series. See our tutorial on Managing Repeating Events for more information about changing series of events.
1. Click the event title for the specifc event you wish to change in order to edit the event.
2. On the right-hand side of the Edit an Event screen, put a checkmark in the box next to This event is canceled.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the event's page and click the Save this Event button.
If your event is part of a series, click the button to Change only this event. This option will cancel this specific event, but not any other event in the series. This option is helpful when you want to cancel just 1 event, for example - if you have to cancel one week's lecture, but will keep all the other lectures in the series.
Note: The selected item(s) will be removed from the system. This action cannot be undone!
You may also delete the item from the event edit screen by clicking the Delete event link on the right side of the screen. You will be prompted to confirm this action.
