Create a Bio Page

  1. From the Site Admin console's left-hand Navigation pane, navigate from the top of the NYU content tree by clicking on the plus signs next to the various pages until you find your Unit's Organizational Chart page within the Administrative Units section. To get to this section, navigate down from: NYU -> English -> About NYU -> Administrative Units
  2. Click the plus sign to expand your Unit's section. You will see two child pages listed:  
    1. redirect
    2. Bios
  3. Single-click on the Bios page icon to select and highlight it.
  4. In the right-hand Site Admin Details pane, click the New... menu (by selecting the arrow next to the word New...), and select New Page. The Create Page window will open.
  5. In the Title field, type the name of the individual whose biography page you are creating.
  6. In the Name field, leave the option blank.
  7. Select the Biography Page template.
  8. Click the Create button.
  9. You will be returned to the Site Admin console. The new page will now be displayed as a child page of the Bios parent page.
  10. To add content to the new Biography page, double-click the new page in the right-hand Details pane.  The page will open for editing.
