Crop an Image

After adding in your image to the desired location on the page, you may wish to modify the size of the image.

  1. Double click the component icon.
  2. Click on the Image tab.
  3. In the lower left-hand corner, click on the Crop button.
  4. The Image crop tools will be viewable in a menu above the image.
  5. With your mouse, grab the border corners around the image to resize the image.
  6. When finished, press the OK button to save your changes. The image should now appear in the new size.
  7. Click the magnifying glass icon in the Sidekick to open the page in Preview mode to ensure that the cropped image appears as expected from the end-user's perspective.

Once you've placed your digital asset into the image component, you're ready to crop it.

Adjust the bounding box to the section of the image you'd like to use most and then click OK. The bounding box may take a little getting used to, so be patient and remember you can always clear the image and start over again.
