Copy and Paste a Component

  1. Navigate to and open the desired page.
  2. Select desired component to copy. Right-click and select Copy from the menu.
  3. This component will be copied to the collapsable Clipboard within the Asset Tray in the bottom left-hand corner.
  4. Select an area on the page where you would like to place the component. Right-click and select Paste.
  5. Click the magnifying glass icon in the Sidekick to open the page in Preview mode to ensure that all additions are as expected from the site viewer's perspective.

Right-click on the component and select Copy from the menu.

The copied component will appear in the Clipboard on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

Pasting the component

Right-click where the component should go on the page and select Paste from the menu.


Utility Bar Copy and Paste

Some components have a utility bar used to Copy and Paste, and do not use the right-click function.

  1. Navigate to and open the desired page.
  2. Select desired component to copy. Select Copy from the Utility Bar.
  3. This component will be copied to the collapsable Clipboard within the Asset Tray in the bottom left-hand corner.
  4. Select an area on the page where you would like to place the component. Right-click and select Paste.
  5. Click the magnifying glass icon in the Sidekick to open the page in Preview mode to ensure that all additions are as expected from the site visitor's perspective.
