The page title is the text that is displayed in large H1 (header 1) format above page content and at the very top of the browser window. To change the title of your page (without affecting the URL name), you can do so by modifying the page properties.
It is possible to update the URL name of a page in the CMS if, for example, you have changed the page title and need to update the URL to match or if there was a typo when originally creating the page. While you may also change the page URL name without affecting the page title, we would encourage you to maintain consistency with the CMS page naming process and permit the system to automatically provide the URL name for each of your pages.
Note: For any major page URL or hierarchy changes that need to be made, please consult DigiComm and submit a Project Request Form.
When a new child page is created, a link to that page will appear in the site navigation on the left-hand side of the parent page. In cases where you do not want a child page to appear in the site navigation, it is possible to hide it by modifying page properties.
To change the order pages appear in live site's left-hand subnavigation hierarchy:
You can only reorder pages that live under the same parent page and are therefore sibling pages. If you need to relocate a child page to move out from underneath a parent page, please submit a Project Request Form.
