Logging In and Logging Off

Logging in to the CMS Authoring Environment

To edit within the CMS Authoring Environment, you do not need to install any special software applications. The CMS is accessed through a Web browser.

To log in, use the URL: http://cmsauthor.nyu.edu/ and use your NYU NetID and NetID password to authenticate. You may wish to bookmark this URL.

To log into the CMS Authoring Environment off-campus, you will need to connect using the NYU-NET Proxy. Please review the set-up instructions on the Connect to NYU-NET from Off Campus page.

Logging Off

At the top right corner of the Authoring Environment, click the Log Off button. You will be asked to close any session windows that are still displaying the CMS Authoring Environment.
