PeopleSync Time Tracking & Absence Management

In early 2020, PeopleSync, NYU’s HR and Payroll system powered by Workday, will replace myTime as NYU’s system for time tracking and absence management! Transitioning from myTime to PeopleSync will make managing time and absence more convenient for NYU employees by reducing the number of systems you are required to use and providing you with an enhanced user experience.

What is Changing?

  • PeopleSync (Workday) will replace myTime as NYU’s system for time tracking and absence management.
  • Employees who currently clock in and out using a clock device will swipe or tap their NYU ID card or enter their employee ID number using the keypad.
  • You will have the ability to manage select time and absence tasks right from your phone using the Workday mobile app, available in the App Store and Google Play Store.

Who Will Use PeopleSync?

All employees currently using myTime to enter or approve time or absence will use PeopleSync for time tracking and absence management.
