From safety and security to family care to health services and discounts, NYU recognizes that the success of the University as a leading academic institution is critically linked to the physical health and total well being of the faculty, employees, and their family members. NYU is committed to safety, wellness education, and outstanding health care as part of the University community. Accordingly, the University offers a number of life and wellness services and resources.
The University recognizes that family safety and wellness is a vital part of faculty and employee well-being, and accordingly offers numerous family care options. From Carebridge Life Resources to a babysitter registry to Caregivers on Call (COC) emergency dependent care program, there are several family care resources available for your use and peace of mind. Faculty and employees are also given access to LiveSmart health and financial services, the Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic and discounts on health care for their own health and wellness.
It is also important the members of the University community feel safe, welcome and at ease while on campus. The Department of Public Safety makes safety a priority, offering services including safety tips and secure transportation between campus buildings. NYU's Center for Spiritual Life encourages development and engagement in a diverse and personal spiritual life experience.
