Register for your free LiveSmart health screenings this fall. Through the LiveSmart program, NYU offers a series of free wellness screenings and clinics to the retiree community (retiree or surviving spouse or surviving domestic partner). Advance registration required.

Cholesterol and Glucose Screening

Cholesterol and glucose screenings are available on the Washington Square campus to the retiree only on:

  • Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm

Please register for the cholesterol and glucose screening by sending an e-mail to askpeoplelink@nyu.edu or calling 212-998-1272. When requesting an appointment, please include 1) your full name, 2) first, second, and third choice of appointment dates/times, and 3) contact information for location/confirmation. Registration is required. Appointments are available in 30 minute increments. Please note that retirees must present an NYU retiree ID card at the screening. Fasting or a light meal is preferred before testing.

Flu Shot Clinic

Flu shots are available on the Washington Square campus to the retiree and one (1) adult (18 years and older) household member on:

  • Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 3:30 pm
  • Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm
  • Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm

Please register for the flu shot vaccine by sending an e-mail to askpeoplelink@nyu.edu or calling 212-998-1272. When requesting an appointment, please include 1) your full name, 2) first, second, and third choice of appointment dates/times, and 3) contact information for location/confirmation. Registration is required. Appointments are available in 30 minute increments. Please note that retirees must present an NYU retiree ID card at the clinic.

This notice provides information about your current prescription drug coverage with NYU and about your options under Medicare‚Äôs prescription drug coverage. This information can help you decide whether or not you want to join a Medicare drug plan. If you are considering joining, you should compare your current coverage, including which drugs are covered at what cost, with the coverage and costs of the plans offering Medicare prescription drug coverage in your area.
