The DISTINGUISHED TEACHING AWARD highlights New York University's commitment to teaching excellence and is given annually to selected outstanding members of the faculty. Recipients are awarded a medal and a grant of $5,000.

Students, faculty, and alumni are invited to submit nominations. Past recipients of the award may not be renominated.
