The Academic Achievement Program in the College of Arts of Science offers upper class advising, tutoring and support groups to African American, Latino and Native American students.

The Administrative Management Council is the organization through which the administrators (management and professional personnel) of NYU participate in University governance. Representatives to the AMC are elected from within each school and division.

Office of Public Safety - Persons with Disabilities
New York University's Office of Public Safety provides campus transportation services to all members of the NYU community. For those individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities, every bus operated on their fixed routes is accessible.

Eleanor Roosevelt

Former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was a Greenwich Village resident and frequent speaker at NYU. She lived at 29 Washington Square West from 1942 to 1949 and on more than one occasion participated in NYU events.
