The stories of five women in the US military, sent to Iraq to defuse tensions with local civilians, only to face unintended consequences. Dubbed "Team Lioness", they faced counterinsurgency battles in Iraq and more long term challenges at home.

Please join us for a a lecture on Universal Design by Bridge MultiMedia President, and Director of Content Innovation, Matt Kaplowitz. Bridge Multimedia is a media services company that develops universally accessible media technology and content.

* Dr. Mark Brennan, Senior Research Scientist, joined ACRIA in 2007 to conduct behavioral research on psychosocial issues affecting persons living with HIV, with a special focus on older adults. With over 20 years of gerontological research experience and over 50 publications, Dr. Brennan brings considerable expertise in applied research on coping and adjustment to chronic illness in middle- and late-adulthood. He is a long-standing Board member of the State Society on Aging of New York and is the primary convener of the Religion, Spirituality and Aging formal interest group of the Gerontological Society of America. Dr. Brennan has been recognized for his research in the field of aging by the Hunter-Brookdale Center on Aging, Pride Senior Network, and the New York State Office for the Aging.
