Building the Future: Transforming Dental Education

A new, interdisciplinary health sciences education and research building is being constructed across the street from the NYU College of Dentistry. The new building is designed to promote an educationally stimulating and professionally collaborative model that has never before existed.

Interior demolition of the previously existing buildings on the site - the Guggenheim Building at 339 East 24th Street and the Basic Science Building at 433 First Avenue - was completed on September 1, 2011. View video. We are now entering the construction phase, with occupancy planned for fall 2015.
