Specialty Referrals: Ask Your Dentist

If your dentist has recommended that you see a specialist and you cannot afford to pay private specialty practice fees, ask your dentist to refer you to the NYU Specialty Referral Program. Because our specialty care programs are supported by the resources of a major academic dental center, the fees charged at NYUCD will usually be about half the cost of what they would be in most private specialty practices. At the completion of treatment, your dentist will receive a report on the care provided, and you will be referred back to your dentist.
