If you have private insurance:

The NYU College of Dentistry is a participating provider with Metlife dental insurance plans for NYU employees. The NYU College of Dentistry also welcomes patients with other dental insurance, but does not have the resources to file and manage dental claims. Patients are therefore responsible for paying for treatment at the time services are provided. To assist you in obtaining reimbursement from your insurance company, our staff will provide you with the all the documentation you require. Most dental insurance plans will reimburse you up to an annual maximum of $1,000 to $1,500. Because the NYU College of Dentistry’s fees are well below average private practice fees, your dollar will go much farther at the NYU College of Dentistry.

NYU College of Dentistry does not accept Medicare.

If you are not covered by Medicaid or private insurance:

An initial fee of $95 must be paid during registration for patients without Medicaid coverage. Payment can be made via cash, credit card, debit card, or personal check.

In addition, third-party financing options are available. Please visit or to learn more.
