The ceremony, which was presided over by Dean Bertolami, conferred approximately 330 DDS degrees, as well as Advanced Education and Clinical Research Program certificates, MS degrees in clinical research, and BS and AAS degrees in dental hygiene.

"The NYU College of Dentistry today celebrates the achievements of our newest alumni, and of the faculty, families, and friends who have guided them to this momentous day," said Dean Bertolami. "Getting to this day has taken more than hard work, dedication, and discipline," he added. "It has also taken a commitment to educational excellence, a strong community service orientation, and a growing global perspective, all of which have made this class so special. We wish all our graduates great success and happiness in the years ahead."
