Alfano has announced the naming of the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz
Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics in recognition of a $1
million pledge to fund the program from Dr. and Mrs. Ferencz. “There can be no more fitting name for this program,” said Dean Alfano. “Dr. Ferencz, a prominent prosthodontist in New York City, a graduate of both NYUCD and its Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics, a Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics at NYUCD, and the current President of the American College of Prosthodontists, has always given generously of both his time and his financial support to his alma mater. This wonderful, new philanthropic act ensures that our postdoctoral program in prosthodontics will not only maintain its preeminence far into the future, but that it will also become the model of a 21st-century specialty training program.
