Not pictured: Mr. Burton Borgelt and Mr. Ian Cook Dean Alfano has appointed an Advisory Council composed of distinguished business leaders, alumni, and friends of the College to advise him on advancing NYUCD’s impact on oral and systemic health and its ability to attract major philanthropy. Stanley L. Bergman, CEO and President of Henry Schein, Inc., has been appointed to chair the Advisory Council. Members include Burton Borgelt, Chairman Emeritus of Dentsply, Inc.; Ian Cook, Executive Vice President of Colgate-Palmolive, Inc.; Peggy Danziger, a private philanthropist; Stephen Cooper, Senior Vice President of Wyeth Consumer Products; Larry Rosenthal, an alumnus and the principal benefactor of the new Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry; and Kenneth Judy, an alumnus and cofounder of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). “As we chart an ever more important role for NYUCD in both the profession and the public sector, we are blessed to have such a talented, dedicated group of individuals to guide me in shaping the College’s future,” said Dean Alfano. |
