Shendell Foundation Gift
Creates New Lecture Series

A gift of $100,000 from the Shendell Foundation will create a lecture series in orthodontics honoring the memory of Dr. Irving Shendell, a well-known New York City orthodontist who passed away in 1984.

“Thanks to the generosity of the Shendell Foundation,” said Dean Alfano, “NYUCD will be able to invite leading orthodontists from around the country to present lectures to our faculty and students. We are grateful to the Shendell Foundation for this opportunity to advance education in Dr. Shendell’s specialty area and look forward to honoring his memory in this especially meaningful way.”
