Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry Jill Fernandez-Wilson recently completed 30 years of service in the United States Navy Reserves, retiring as Master Chief Dental Technician (Fleet Marine Force). Before an audience of 200 at a ceremony held at the National Naval Medical Center in Washington, DC, Professor Fernandez-Wilson received several medals, including her second Meritorious Service Medal, the highest non-combat award given to an enlisted person. "My greatest reward," said Professor Fernandez-Wilson, "has been working with such a fine group of Americans and serving my country."
