A crew from one of the BBC's most popular TV shows, Looking Good with Larry Turner, visited the College last summer to film a story entitled "How to Get Your Perfect White Smile." The show's producer, Simone Wright, said that NYUCD was chosen because it is known in the United Kingdom as a world leader in the field of cosmetic dentistry.

The crew spent the morning interviewing Dr. John Calamia, professor of restorative and prosthodontic sciences (operative dentistry), who demonstrated some of the latest techniques taught at the College to redesign smiles and improve function.

During the afternoon, the crew interviewed Dr. Larry Rosenthal, Class of 1972, a prominent cosmetic dentist, whose private practice includes celebrities such as Donald Trump, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Michael Bolton.
