CulinArt, a national leader in customized, on-site dining service programs, has made a gift of $250,000 to NYUCD in support of a new multimillion dollar Student Center including a magnificent food court, which CulinArt will manage. The Student Center will also house student council and class offices, student lockers, and a lounge area. The food court is scheduled to open in spring 2005.

Mr. Joseph Pacifico, CEO of Culinart, which provides food services to NYUCD and other schools at the University, said, “A key part of CulinArt’s mission is to develop its relationships with leaders in corporate, education, and leisure markets. CulinArt’s gift allows us both to strengthen a core business partnership and to play a meaningful role in NYUCD’s transformation.”

Executive Associate Dean Steven Donofrio, who is overseeing construction of the Student Center, said: “NYUCD is extremely proud of its association with CulinArt. We look forward to a new food court that offers innovation, high quality, and variety in an attractive atmosphere – a true destination spot for the NYUCD community.”
