Philip Zaveloff, a member of the NYU College of Dentistry Class of 2003, received the second place award at the Greater New York Dental Meeting for his Dental Student Table Demonstration entitled "An Analysis of the Horizontal Transmission Among Patients with Porphyromonas Gingivalis via Heteroduplex Analysis." Julie L. Jarvis and Kamel Preet, both dental hygiene students, received second place awards at the Greater New York Dental Meeting for their Hygiene Student Table Demonstration entitled "Effects of Smokeless Tobacco."
