You are inside the 212 or 718 area codes and you are
not using NYU as your Internet service provider
We highly recommend that you use NYU-NET as it is free to all
NYU students and grants you instant access to all of our resources
and those of our NYU affiliated libraries. Ask at the circulation
desk for a free NYU-NET CD-ROM or info is on the ITS
website.
If you would still like to use a non-NYU Internet service provider,
you must reconfigure your web browser to use NYU's proxy servers.
Simple instructions on how to do this are on the ITS
website.
A valid NYUHome account is required.
You are outside the 212 or 718 area codes accessing the
Internet using an Internet service provider other than NYU (AOL,
ATT Worldnet, etc.)

Broadband connections can be problematic with the NYU Proxy
servers. If you are experiencing difficulties call ITS Client
Services at 212-998-3333.
