Research Interests / Professional Overview:

  • Aphthous Stomatitis
  • Oral Cancer
  • Over the last two years (1999-2001) my research has focused on the treatment of minor aphthous ulcers, and we have an ongoing industry sponsored randomized double-blind placebo controlled clinical trial investigating a topical treatment. In September 2001 I begin, as co-investigator for an oral cancer study looking at current and emerging technologies for the early detection of oral cancer.
