Program 2
Day 2 of this intensive three-day series will focus on the planning, preparation, and placement of porcelain veneers and all-ceramic crowns. There will be a morning lecture/video presentation followed by an afternoon hands-on program where attendees will fabricate reduction guides, a matrix for provisional restorations, and prepare typodont models for both veneers and zirconia crowns. A systematic and logical approach is one of the keys to success with porcelain veneers. Specific preparation guidelines, adhesive systems and how to optimize their performance, and new materials will be covered in detail.

Topics to be covered in program 2:
Planning - The comprehensive exam and workup (it all starts from here).
Periodontal - Gingival health, levels, and contours (Make sure the frame is right before you paint the picture).
Preparation - How and why (definitive preparations for optimal fit and esthetics - "No prep" veneers, fact or fiction?).
Provisionalization - Methodology and tips (how to minimize problems and fabricate provisionals that really do look good).
Placement - Adhesive systems and veneer cements (how to treat BOTH the veneers and the teeth).

This course can be purchased individually or as part of a package containing all 3 programs in the series. For more details see The Marriage of Esthetics, Occlusion, and Comprehensive Dentistry and Bringing it all Together…Insertion,Cements, Adhesives, and Materials.
