Program 3
Day 3 of this intensive three-day series will focus on a range of topics including adhesion, cements, direct and indirect composites, and materials. Different techniques for the successful placement of veneers, Empress, and zirconia core based crowns will be covered in detail as well. The morning lecture/live patient video of the insert presentation will be followed by an afternoon hands-on program where attendees will have a chance to place various restorations using a number of materials and techniques in the hands-on workshop session.

  • Great tips to save time and optimize results.
  • Understanding different adhesive systems and how to optimize their performance.
  • How to achieve predictable interproximal contacts with direct composite resins.
  • Understand why using RMGI liners might be the best clinical technique to utilize when placing a direct composite.
  • Core buildups made predictable and easy.
  • RMGI cements vs. Self-adhesive resin cements (which is better)?

Bio:
Dr. Gary Alex has researched and lectured internationally on adhesive and cosmetic dentistry, dental materials, comprehensive dentistry, and occlusion. He is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and past president of the AACD New York Chapter and has been the director of "PAC Live Ultimate Occlusion" and "Aesthetic Advantage Occlusion and Comprehensive Dentistry" programs. He is also co-director of the "Long Island Center for Dental Esthetics andOcclusion". Dr. Alex is also on the editorial advisory board of, and has had a number of articles published in, the highly respected peer-reviewed publication "Inside Dentistry."
