COURSE OVERVIEW:
Periodontal procedures performed to correct and alter the soft tissue interface around
teeth and the dental implants are the first step in building an attractive smile.
A detailed review of diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment options including
recent microsurgical techniques in the management of hard and soft tissue problems
will be discussed.
Treatment and management of bone insufficiencies in the anterior region, gingival
overgrowth, altered passive eruption, gingival recession, impacted canines, mucogingival
defects, correcting smile lines, immediate implants in the esthetic corridor and soft
tissue management will be presented.
This lecture will include videos of several surgical techniques.

Bio:
Monish Bhola, DDS, MSD is an associate professor and director of the Graduate Periodontics Program at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry; a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and is in private practice in Waterford, Michigan.
