COURSE OVERVIEW:
The American Society of Master Dental Technologists, Inc. is a worldwide professional organization established in 1977 to elevate the educational standards of dental technologists. Its ultimate goal is to provide the educational resources, text materials, instructors, and guidance necessary for dental technicians to achieve the status and recognition of the master level in the field of dental technology. After acceptance as an associate member, the dental technologist strives toward the Master Dental Technology classification, which is granted following the successful completion of the program and passing written and practical examinations developed by and submitted before the Examining Board of ASMDT. As a member of ASMDT, technologists who have earned the Master Dental Technologist title are qualified to present credentials that display their competency in all technological categories, as well as in the basic sciences associated with dentistry and, in particular, their academic orientation in the science of the Stomatognathic System.
