They are offered in the first semester to students who (1) have not taken Biology and/or Chemistry in high school and (2) have satisfactorily completed Biology and Chemistry, yet the courses were taken more than 10 years ago. Science Strategies (course number Y41.9701) is offered for no credit if the student’s grades are weak and require a refresher course.
