Continuing Education Programs
Linhart Continuing Dental Education Program
A dental degree is the beginning of a commitment to continuing dental
education throughout one’s professional life. Therefore, the primary
purpose of this program is to provide the resources that enable the
practitioner to sustain and augment his or her learning.
The continuing dental education faculty includes college faculty, alumni,
and outstanding educators from other institutions and from private practice.
Within the stimulating educational forum provided by these clinicians,
the program seeks to create and expedite innovative modes of presentation
and to maintain New York University’s leadership role in the field
of continuing dental education.
Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry
This state-of-the-art training facility for practicing dentists is named
in recognition of a leadership gift from Dr. Larry Rosenthal, class
of 1972. The NYU Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry is the
nation’s first comprehensive program in an academic dental center
to train dentists in the burgeoning field of cosmetic dentistry. With
the look and feel of the best private dental practices in Manhattan,
the Rosenthal Institute is a unique facility wholly dedicated to fostering
continuing education, research, and patient care in current and emerging
techniques in aesthetic dentistry.
