Thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends, NYU College of Dentistry is at a tipping point, poised to become the
leadership dental school in the 21st century. NYUCD has become widely recognized for our ability to shape the nature
of dental practice worldwide through unique programs in the areas of interdisciplinary education, oral cancer, tissue
engineering, dental implants, and terrorism preparedness.

Today NYUCD is at the forefront of reform - in dental
education and in providing assistance to other dental schools in the areas of financial models, curriculum, continuing
education and research. All of these achievements have made us extremely competitive in our ability to attract top
student applicants. Indeed, the fall 2007 entering class represents only 12 percent of applicants. |
