Welcome

Welcome to the home page of the NYU Academy of Distinguished Educators. The mission of the Academy is to enhance overall teaching at the NYU College of Dentistry and to stimulate excitement among teachers around their intellectual content.

In inaugurating this home page, we also inaugurate the Journal of the Academy of Distinguished Educators (JADE), an online-only, open-access journal. The mission of JADE is to endorse and reinforce the goals of the Academy of Distinguished Educators and to promote the free exchange of ideas regarding higher educational theory, methods, and tools.

The members of the Academy of Distinguished Educators and the Editorial Board of JADE hope that you will contact us with your comments and suggestions as we go forward.
