Teaching Tech Showcase 3 — Incubations

David Schachter

NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service

Schachter discussed the changing format of seminar-style courses, which rely on small enrollment and high interactivity among and between the instructor and the students. He examined how a professor might increase the number of students exposed to a course's frameworks while keeping the interactive and small-community feel of the course. Finally, he explored how professors might combine technology and face-to-face delivery methods, and the steps in considering scaling-up a course.
