Building a Global Curriculum

New technologies can help us create courses that merge research and teaching, as well as bring students and faculty together from around NYU's global sites. "Where the City Meets the Sea" is a course offered this semester in both New York and Abu Dhabi. Mary Killilea is the faculty member in New York and John Burt is the faculty member in Abu Dhabi. Together they are teaching students in both locations. In addition, the students in both locations are collecting data in the field and then sharing it with each other online so that they can work on joint projects.
