For more than 30 years, NYU has sent students to the State Capitol to share with legislators their personal stories about the importance of financial aid and higher education funding. The advocacy trip proved successful when, in late March, the New York State legislature adopted the 2018-2019 state budget, which restored funding for programs that were in danger of budget cuts—such as Bundy Aid, TAP, and Opportunity Programs.

Here are some scenes from this year's trip. Learn more about NYU Albany Day.
