The prospects for President Barack Obama’s unfinished agenda at home and abroad, viewed against the backdrop of his lame-duck status, will be the focus of a discussion that will be be presented May 6 by The Associated Press at New York University’s campus in Washington.
Journalists will provide an inside view of the challenges facing the administration on a number of fronts, ranging from implementation of the health care law and the midterm elections in November to the crisis in Ukraine and the U.S.-brokered peace talks in the Middle East.
The panel, moderated by AP Washington Bureau Chief Sally Buzbee, will feature:
